The design of All Those Moments, a residential space by Te-Chih Lo, is a testament to simplicity and freshness. By skillfully mix-matching colors and textures and dividing the space into precise layouts, the team has managed to create an open and comforting ambiance that captures the purest and realest beauty in life.
The public area of the house consists of the living room, dining room, and kitchen, where the flow of lines and the utilization of every corner of space create a harmonious and functional environment. The elongated lines in sight, along with the uncovered beams and cabinets, contribute to the expansion of the space. The TV wall and back wall feature contrasting color blocks on opposite corners, reminiscent of a camera capturing joyful moments, adding a touch of delight to anyone who enters the house.
The project, located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, was completed in September 2020. Throughout the design process, the team prioritized sustainability and environmental friendliness. Instead of traditional woodwork, plywood and certified green building materials were used, creating a healthier living space while also conserving energy and reducing waste.
The layout of All Those Moments is meticulously planned, with each area serving its purpose. The incorporation of different layers and textures in the space creates a dynamic vibe that breathes life and vitality into the environment.
All Those Moments was recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards. The design is respected for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world and evoking fulfillment and positive emotions.
